How long does a website take to build?
Depending on our schedule and what you are after it usually takes 2-3 weeks to get a website approved and up and running. But if you know what you want and are able to get your content together quickly we can have your website online ready for you to put up your content in as little as 2 days.
So what’s with the name and logo?

Can I edit my own website content after you have built the site for me?
Yes! You can edit your own website content from the Shiftees CMS right here from our very own website.
What is a Content Management System (CMS)?
A CMS is a web application that allows a website owner (admin) to edit the text and images of their website. Shiftees has developed their own CMS called ‘Admin Portal’ which utilises the latest web technologies and lets you edit your site from ours.
So what else can your Admin Portal do?
As well as editing your website content our Admin Portal has a number of Portal Apps which provide a unique service such as letting you book and organise client appointments for a sole trader, allow online take away orders for a restaurant, send out SMS marketing and even update your Facebook and Twitter posts from one location.
What is a Portal App again?

Why do we log into your website and not ours like other businesses?
Well, it’s a lot more efficient to do it this way. As we roll out the latest updates and add new features to our CMS we want ALL of our clients to benefit from the upgrades not just our newest ones. So if you create a new Portal App that we find interesting would it cost a lot to have?
Not at all, whenever we roll out new features such as Portal Apps for our CMS you can purchase the App for a small cost and we will customise your site to include it. So say you have the simple photo gallery App but later down the track would also want to display videos from youtube in your gallery we can easily install the advanced gallery App right onto your website at the upgrade price.
Can my website send SMS promotional messages?
Yes it sure can. Our list of Portal Apps is quite comprehensive covering a wide range of client needs and as we build more for new clients all of our old clients
Do you offer a factory bonus on all new websites?
No. That’s only for cars, we make websites.
What is search engine optimisation (SEO)?
Search engine optimisation is the process by which your website’s page structure and content work in harmony so your site appears higher in search engine results such as on Google.
